We offer a variety of services & performances and have experience in all fields of entertainment from TV & Film to Corporate Events to Theatre.

We provide incredible crowd pulling shows that provide a cutting edge and innovative solution to the increasing need to satisfy the rapidly growing urban market.

Our past performances have included exhibition battles, choreography and freestyle; most requirements for a large variety of events can be met. Our shows are very versatile and can be performed on stage or on a suitable floor both indoor and outdoor.

We also offer workshops and masterclasses to schools & dance companies for dancers of all levels.

The Funkstylerz UK dance company was created in September 2003 by Rob Pountney (ChimpChilla). The four original members were Mouse, Flexy, Bear and ChimpChilla and since then the group has gone from strength to strength and is now fifteen members strong featuring dancers from all over the world including the UK, France, USA & Australia.

The main concepts of the company are to provide regular employment for the talented members of the Funkstylerz UK team and to promote the original streetdances within the UK through performances, showcases, workshops and demonstrations.

Funkstylerz aim to use this website as a base for the UK's best streetdancers to be able to gain recognition in the entertainment world and at the same time build the profile of the dance styles that we represent.

We aim to develop a community of funkstyle and hip hop dance and involve ourselves with education, competition and theatre as well as looking to regularly bring dance legends and pioneers from across the world to teach and demonstrate these dances in their original form and at their highest level.

We want this website to not only act as a promotional page for the performance group but also to act as a centre of resource and information for the funkstyle and hip hop dances and we look to regularly update it with all activity involving these dances. (classes, workshops, demos, shows, events, contests etc.)
